Theologians in the Cathedral: Chris Holmes: ‘Give light to my eyes:’ The Psalms and the Life of Faith.
Theology House is proud to be hosting a series of seminars with Christchurch Transitional Cathedral. Each month over winter a top New Zealand theologian will preach at choral evensong and then present a seminar on a topic they are passionate about. June’s speaker is the head of the theology programme at the University of Otago and world-renowned scholar the Revered Associate Professor Christopher RJ Homes. The title for Chris’s seminar is “‘Give light to my eyes:’ The Psalms and the Life of Faith.”
Chris’s recent publications include The Lord is Good: Seeking the God of Psalter (IVP Academic 2018).
